Oakland ophthalmologist Dr. Barry Breaux specializes in complete vision care services including complete eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the latest techniques in vision correction including clear lensectomy with implants, cataract removal with implants, LASIK, and PRK.

Dr. Breaux offers Crystalens®, an FDA-approved accommodating intraocular lens (IOL) that corrects cataracts and restores both distance and near vision. He also offers services for Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy including Selective Laser Trabecuplasty and Retinal Laser procedures.

Dr. Barry Breaux is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Breaux received his Medical Degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and completed a three-year Residency in Ophthalmology at the King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Breaux also completed additional fellowship training in Refractive Surgery to become expertly qualified to correct a wide variety of vision problems including myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
